(Hagerstown, MD) What’s NXT announces Antrim Way Honda as the title sponsor for the Downtown Summer Slide Festival on August 29, 2015 featuring an 825-foot water slide. Antrim Way Honda currently serves the community by offering a café, retail shops, putting green, walking trail and children’s play area, branding itself as a destination dealership. Playing a key role in the Downtown Summer Slide Festival provides another way to strengthen that local brand.
“At Antrim Way Honda, our customer service and amenities are what set us apart,” says Greg Weaver, President of Antrim Way Honda. “There’s something unique about being a part of the first annual Downtown Summer Slide Festival and the excitement it creates for the community.”
Leitersburg Cinemas is also a sponsor for the event. As part of its involvement, Leitersburg is providing movie tickets for slide participants. Riders will receive one free movie ticket for every 30-minute wave ticket purchased, including VIP tickets for VIP riders.
The Downtown Summer Slide Festival is another family-friendly event hosted by What’s NXT to strengthen the community, bring awareness to the downtown area and compliment the annual Krumpe’s Donut Drop which kicks off the new year.
“What’s NXT is always on the lookout for fun and exciting ways for the community to come together,” says Melissa Fountain, Director of Events at What’s NXT. “We’ve gotten much positive feedback that this type of event is something local families are seeking.”
The festival will run from 11 am to 4 pm and include live music, a beer garden, food trucks and kid’s activities. Admission is free for general street activities. Tickets are $30 for regular, $40 for VIP and include unlimited slides during each half-hour wave purchased. A limited number of single slide tickets are $8 and available the day of the event only. Slide tickets may be purchased at whatsnxt.com/slide.
