The Nature Center is truly an amazing place. From the stained glass windows depicting the seven days of creation to the hundreds of sea shells on display; from the live snakes and ferrets you can hold to the mounts of Lions, Bears and Antelope. There is something for everyone. We have more African mammals on display than the Smithsonian’s Museum of Natural History. You can sit by the observation pond and watch the turtles bask in the sun, climb the tower to get a look at the tops of trees, or, through one way glass, watch a blue jay raid a bird feeder three inches from your nose!
