Lockhouse 49 in Clear Spring is one of seven Canal Quarter Lockhouses that line the C&O Canal National Historical Park and are available to guests for overnight stays. This lockhouse is furnished in the 1920s style with interpretation that depicts the "heyday" of the canal community at Four Locks. Has baseboard heat, stove, fire ring, and picnic tables, and a lovely view off the porch. Right across the street from the C&O Canal towpath. Sleeps 8 at $125/night.
