The Friends of Tolson's Chapel have produced a living history film to provide insights into the life of Christina Watson (Teeny), an enslaved woman who worked in a Sharpsburg tavern and also experienced the terror of the Battle of Antietam. The home built by her husband, Hillary Watson, still stands on High Street in Sharpsburg. The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring three of the women involved in the film: Dr. Emilie Amt, Bridgett Jones-Smith, and ZSun-Nee Miller Matama.
