Boonsboro, Maryland is a quaint small town in the mountains of Western Maryland, 30 minutes west of Frederick or about 60 miles from DC or Baltimore. Founded in 1792, "Boonesborough" was founded by George and William Boone, cousins of Daniel Boone. Boonsboro was the location of two Civil War Battles and is 10 minutes from the Antietam Nat'l Battlefield. We're also a stone's throw from the Appalachian Trail and the C&O Canal and a number of wineries and breweries/distilleries. Come for the festival and stay to visit one of our museums, restaurants or shops! #boonsboromd #boonesboroughdays
